Haven’s online English program was built for refugees and other newcomers fleeing conflict who are now in Canada. It combines personalized one-on-one and small group classes with a professional teacher, and real conversation practice with Canadian volunteers — with a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
Through the 20-week program, most students improve by one CLB level — more than twice as fast as other programs in Canada. Haven charges a small participation fee, starting at just $2.50 per class ($5 per week).
Haven is currently accepting new students. Students with flexible availability can get into classes quickly and start practicing with Canadians right away.
