We have all encountered conflict in our organizational relationships, from time to time.  This workshop offers a chance to learn how to resolve issues resulting from misunderstanding, cultural differences, power imbalance, and conflict escalation.  Attendees will gain new skills, or refresh existing approaches on how to deal with conflict and learn practical problem-solving strategies. Interested? Send your registration information to barbara@refugeesponsornet.ca, marked Lunch & Learn in the subject line.

Workshop resource presenter is Rola Mustafa, a professional in mediation and alternative dispute resolution who has a track record in resolving such issues in the refugee sector.

Marla Allan, a retired human resources executive will act as the event moderator.

In just one-hour, you will acquire effective conflict resolution strategies, participate in breakout discussion to share experiences and identify what might work best in your own context.  It is quick and effective learning. Registration is now open.  Register as soon as you can, because we cap this type of offering at 40 participants, but if interest exceeds capacity, we can offer this again.
