The Canadian Council for Refugees (CCR) is hosting a virtual meeting on Thursday February 12 to provide an opportunity for those involved in Group of Five sponsorships to hear from and ask questions of IRCC.
Representatives of IRCC will provide updates on the suspension of intake, current status of processing and discussions on future intake control mechanisms. They will also respond to questions on processing issues related to current applications.
CCR will prioritize questions on processing issues submitted in advance, so if you have any questions related to processing of current applications, please submit them via the registration form or by email to G5@ccrweb.ca by January 27.
This virtual meeting is for those involved in a Group of Five or Community Sponsor private refugee sponsorship, or Group of 2 to 5 in Quebec, and for those who work with or support these sponsors.
